Tony Hobley
Tony Hobley – Managing Director, Spark44 North America Tony has over 20 years of experience leveraging the power of creative, media, data and technology to drive business value and build strong customer relationships. He’s worked in a number of categories, including automotive, travel, technology and consumer package goods (CPG).
He currently has strategic, operational and P&L responsibility for Spark44 North America, including offices in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. He also leads the regional relationship for Jaguar & Land Rover and Tata Global Beverages (TGB) in the development of award-winning content and communications across paid, owned and earned activities.
Prior to Spark44, Tony spent 12 years with RAPP Worldwide where he did stints in the Los Angeles, New York and Paris offices. During his tenure, he held a number of senior leadership roles leading international and local client relationships including Toyota, Air France-KLM, COTY, Nestle, Mattel, HP and SAP.
Prior to RAPP, Tony spent several years with Wunderman/Y&R Companies in the Detroit and Orange County offices. He held leadership roles in CRM and Digital Planning, Analytics and Technology. He focused on acquisition, retention and optimization activities for the Ford Motor Co. stable of luxury brands (including Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover).
He began his career with Andersen Consulting & Arthur Andersen in Detroit as a Business Analyst. He worked on database analytics and survey development for several global studies on automotive industry best practices. Later he worked for Ford Motor Co, as a contract Business Analyst supporting the Market Research division.
Tony is originally from Detroit and attended Wayne State University. His wife, Caitlin McNally Hobley, is a journalist and documentary filmmaker. They live in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Ditmas Park with their 14-month-old daughter, Zoe Mayberry. When they have free time, they have a joint love of reading, learning, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
